About Me:Nick began his real estate career in 1993 as a licensed commercial realtor with Vancouver brokerage Goddard & Smith International Realty Inc. shortly after graduating from BCIT's Marketing Management program with a specialization in real estate. After his direct involvement in the 1995 sale of BC Gas Building (1111 West Georgia Street, Vancouver) by Manulife Financial to TA Properties Berhad of Malaysia for $91 million, Nick moved to South Africa to work for TA's property division based in Johannesburg. Nick managed TA's property acquisition and development program in that country from late 1996 through 1999, successfully completing a major office and retail development project and securing planning consent to develop a parcel of prime strategic land purchased by Nick for the Group in Cape Town. In early 2000 Nick moved to London England and worked as an agency surveyor for Keningtons Chartered Surveyors, primarily focusing on land and investment real estate acquisitions for developer, health & fitness and other commercial clients, throughout the UK. Nick was hired by one of his clients as Property Director of Cambian Healthcare and Cambian Education where he led the real estate function from 2005 until 2011, acquiring and developing healthcare assets and schools throughout England and Wales. On returning to BC in 2012, Nick progressed his career with public sector postings at Lower Mainland Facilities Management (LMFM) and Public Services & Procurement Canada (PSPC). Now based in the coastal community of Powell River, BC, Nick is the predominant commercial realtor in his local market and also works in the Provincial and regional real estate markets on behalf of his clients. A seasoned real estate professional, Nick has 30 years' experience in real estate on four (4) continents; North America, Europe, Asia and Africa.
